These terms are structured around what Bonga actually does. They are not legal advice and have not been reviewed by a lawyer.
Have a Tanzanian lawyer review this before launch — particularly §6 (Predictions), which touches gambling-adjacent regulation, and §11–12. Then replace every highlighted value and delete this box.

1. Acceptance
By creating a Bonga account or using the Bonga app, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use Bonga.
Bonga is operated by TechOn — full registered legal entity name, Dar es Salaam, Tanzania ("we", "us").
2. Eligibility
You must be 18 years or older to use Bonga. Bonga includes dating features and is not intended for minors. Registration requires a date of birth and rejects anyone under 18. Providing a false date of birth is a breach of these Terms.
3. Your account
- You are responsible for keeping your password secure and for activity under your account.
- One person, one account. Do not impersonate anyone else.
- The information you provide must be accurate and kept up to date.
- Tell us immediately if you believe your account has been compromised.
4. Your content
You keep ownership of everything you post — your posts, replies, photos, videos and profile information.
By posting to Bonga you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce and display that content for the sole purpose of operating Bonga. This licence ends when you delete the content or your account, except where it has already been shared with others or where we must retain it by law.
You are responsible for what you post. Only post content you have the right to share.
5. Dating
- Bonga's dating features let you browse and express interest in other profiles.
- Bonga does not verify the identity of its users. We do not run background checks. Use your judgement, and take normal precautions when meeting anyone in person — meet publicly and tell someone where you are going.
- Anything you put on your profile is visible to other Bonga users.
- You may report or stop engaging with any user at any time.
6. Predictions and Odds
Predictions are opinions, not guarantees. A prediction on Bonga is one tipster's view of a sporting outcome. Publicly displayed accuracy and win-rate figures describe past performance and do not predict future results.
- Bonga does not accept bets, hold stakes, or operate as a bookmaker. We publish and sell access to predictions.
- Any betting you do based on a prediction is entirely your own decision, at your own risk, with a third party.
- We do not guarantee that any prediction will be correct, and we do not refund a purchase because a prediction lost.
- You are responsible for complying with the gambling laws that apply where you live.
⚠ Legal review needed. Selling sports predictions may be regulated in Tanzania and in other markets where the app is distributed. Confirm licensing requirements and whether responsible-gambling messaging is mandatory before launch.
7. Purchases and payments
- Premium predictions and subscriptions are paid for through our payment provider, CashPay.
- A purchase completes only when the payment provider confirms it. Until then it is pending.
- Once a premium prediction has been unlocked, the content has been delivered.
- Subscriptions run for the period shown at purchase.
- Refunds: state your refund policy — this must be a real, deliverable commitment.
Prices are shown in Tanzanian Shillings (TZS) and include any applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
8. Messaging
- Messages are for communication between users. Do not use them to harass, spam or defraud.
- Messages are encrypted in transit and at rest, but are not end-to-end encrypted. See the Privacy Policy.
- We may access message content where necessary to investigate a report of abuse or to comply with the law.
9. Prohibited conduct
You must not:
- Post unlawful, hateful, harassing, threatening or defamatory content.
- Post sexual content involving minors, or any non-consensual intimate imagery. This results in immediate permanent removal and referral to the authorities.
- Impersonate another person or misrepresent who you are.
- Post content you do not have the rights to.
- Spam, scam, phish, or solicit money from other users.
- Use bots, scrapers or automated tools against Bonga.
- Attempt to access other users' accounts or our systems without authorisation.
- Resell or redistribute premium predictions you have purchased.
- Circumvent payment, or any access restriction.
10. Intellectual property
The Bonga name, logo, design and software are owned by us. These Terms do not grant you any right to use them beyond using the app as intended. Content posted by other users belongs to them.
11. Suspension and termination
- We may suspend or terminate an account that breaches these Terms, or where necessary to protect other users.
- Serious breaches — particularly those in §9 — may result in immediate permanent removal without notice.
- You may stop using Bonga and request account deletion at any time. See the Privacy Policy.
12. Disclaimers
Bonga is provided "as is". We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any content — including predictions — is accurate.
We are not responsible for the conduct of other users, whether online or in person, and we do not verify user identities.
13. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, or losses arising from betting decisions you make, from content posted by other users, or from your interactions with other users.
Nothing here excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law. Have your lawyer confirm the liability cap and wording for Tanzanian law.
14. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms. The date at the top reflects the current version, and material changes will be communicated in the app. Continuing to use Bonga after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
15. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of confirm — presumably Tanzania, and disputes are subject to the courts of confirm jurisdiction.
